The Borough of New Cumberland is a municipality located in the southeast section of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It lies at the confluence of the Yellow Breeches Creek and the Susquehanna River. This location is a quick commute to the state capital city of Harrisburg.

New Cumberland is home to the largest distribution facility in the Department of Defense, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, PA (formerly the New Cumberland Army Depot). Materials from facilities across the U.S. are consolidated here to support all branches of the armed forces throughout the world.
New Cumberland is located in the West Shore School District which includes eight elementary schools, three middle schools and two high schools – Red Land High School and Cedar Cliff High School.
