Dillsburg Real Estate

Dillsburg is a rural community located in northern York County, Pennsylvania. Sitting between Gettysburg and Harrisburg at the junction of Routes 15 and 74, Dillsburg offers easy access to several metropolitan destinations.

Dillsburg was originally settled by Matthew Dill in 1740. The village became a center for local agriculture, which is still alive and well in the area all these years later. Since the early 1900’s the residents of Dillsburg have celebrated their way of life with the Dillsburg Farmer’s Fair. This annual event features arts and crafts, parades, an antique tractor show, and of course farm-fresh food.

Children love to get hands-on, picking their own berries and apples or running through corn mazes at local orchards like Paulus Orchards. Count down the New Year in Dillsburg watching a larger-than-life papier-mâché (sometimes mylar) pickle slowly fall at the now famous New Year’s Eve Pickle Drop.

Nestled in the foothills of the beautiful and historic Blue Ridge Mountains with South Mountain in its backyard, Dillsburg has been and is a good place to call “home”.
