TeamPete Realty Services, with offices in Camp Hill and Hershey Pennsylvania, will be hosting a golf outing on September 16, 2021 to raise money for the local chapter of Meals on Wheels. We chose this charity because they have a direct impact on our local residents by providing regular meals and wellness checks. 1 in 4 seniors lives alone, and due to COVID-19 many seniors are lonelier than before the pandemic. While hunger and isolation can affect anyone with limited mobility and declining health, financial strain makes them much worse.
West Shore Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver a hot, nutritious meal to clients every weekday and they share a brief visit to provide much-needed interaction. Nearly 100% of donated funds go toward the cost of client meals. A contribution of $109 will provide one month of meals, $1,300 will provide a full year of meals for their clients.
